How the hell do you pronounce Neil Gaiman's last name?

Is it Gay-man? Guy-man? Gaya-man?

I was telling a co-worker about my latests ebay purchase (Sandman: Endless Nights), and suddenly realized, though I’ve read most of his books, and own the entire Sandman series, I had absolutely no idea how to pronounce his last name. I typically say Guy-man.

Anyway, any of y’all know?

Well, I might have read all of his books, and collected all of his comics, and named a child or two after him, and tattooed his face on my chest, and built an altar to him in my garage, but I’m not such a fan as to actually check out his website and look for an answer there.
