I always imagined it being “DOW-wa-jan.” My sister says it “Da-HO-wa-yan.”
Who else has an unpronounceable name?

Mine’s totally phonetic, but for the record I pronounce your name in my head as “dow-WODGE-un,” first syllable rhyming with Tao.
Mine’s quite difficult
ARE-yuh? What’s difficult about that?
It’s not that hard I guess, but Brabamatariumanism is pretty hard.
For some reason, people keep pronouncing my name as “Asshole”, “Jerk-off”, “Tubby”, and “Don Knots”.
Are they stupid? Anybody can see that my name is clearly pronounced “UN-der-pants”.
I thought it was “Oops, I didn’t mean to say that…”
Daowajan. DUH…
d&r
whats up with d&r?
“Ducks & runs”.
I’ve always pronounced my screen name as “drag-wir”, but I’ve heard some people pronounce it “Throat-wobbler mangrove”.
Mine has a cool French “u” in it…
I go by Puce-ette, Pursette (courtesy of biggirl), and Little Flea.
Well, unless I think about it, I pronounce it DAY jo wan. oops.
BTW, mine rhymes with Miata.
I am you-eh han. Han like solo.
Daowajan… hmm… where did it come from? Did you just make it up or is it out of some other language? I tend to automatically pronounce foreign sounding words like Chinese if I don’t think about (Xena becomes Shehna*) it which would make you T-ow-wah-jon. But I’m a mutant.

Made it up.
Well, I always pronounced thinksnow name like thinks now, until I found out that it was supposed to be pronounced think snow. I still pronounce it thinks now, but now I feel guilty…I thinks.
I’d always imagined it to be “DOW-wa-hahn”, which is fairly close to to what you’d got, but with the Spanish-y “j.”
<------ ghoti
Mine’s Finnish (someone thought it was Hawaiian). I don’t speak native Suomi, or whatever, so I have no idea how it’s really supposed to be pronounced. In my head, it’s muh-LEEK-ee, but I ran into someone IRL that I’d met online, and he pronounced it ‘MY-leek-ee.’ Someone else guessed ‘MIL-lick-ee’. If I can find a real live Finnish person, I will force them to tell me.
Smells like fish in here.
I have been recently informed that the proper pronunciation of my name is “Oggrey.”
