How to change the order of songs in my iTunes library?

I can’t believe I have to ask this simple question here…but I have looked into every nook and cranny in the iTunes on my laptop and can’t seem to find an answer.

I have all the 3500 songs on my laptop iTunes in an alphabetically ordered list, i.e. from ABBA straight through to ZZ Top. That’s how I like it. However, after a drunken night of partying and listening to music with my friends, I woke up to find out the order has been reversed - now the list starts with ZZ Top and ends with ABBA. I have no idea what button I (or someone else) clicked to make this so, but I can’t seem to bring it back to normal, no matter where I look for a solution. It’s ridiculous how bad it gets on my nerve to have my music arranged backwards.

So, how do I make the list go from A to Z instead of Z to A?

You can sort on any field in the list by clicking on it. The first click goes low to high, the second high to low - so, you should just be able to click on the ‘name’ field to get things back where they were.

Thanks! That was easy! (although I feel even stupider now…) Case closed.
