PDF-files become very large very rapidly. Just a small flyer will easily reach 2 MB. That kind of bittage is probably neccesary if I want to print, but if I just want to send it out, how can I downsize it?
If you’re using Adobe Acrobat to create the PDF file, go to Advanced -> PDF Optimizer.
Mangetout, thanks, but I was looking for free ways of doing it. And I only have Acrobat Reader.
Typically, someone else has made the PFD, and asks me or other people to forward it. I never do because I feel it is so impolite to send people e-mails over 2 MB.
