How to Get Refund for SDMB Subscription Overpayment

It should be so obvious, I know!

But I’ve been in the hospital the past week for emergency surgery and I’m still pretty brain-spuzzled just from that (I’m fine). And, as part of the Festival of Confusion that’s been the past week or two for me I apparently paid up my SDMB subscription twice. I just want to get refunded for the extra one.

IIRC, subscriptions operate on a consecutive basis so the second one will go into effect after the first runs out. I wouldn’t worry about it unless you really need the money back.

Thanks for that. I already was reluctant to selected more than a one-year subscription because I don’t have the money for it; a four-year subscription would be out of the question. I’m afraid I can’t afford to give it to the SDMB, I need to have the money refunded.

Now how do I do that?

Thanks much. If it’s really a pain it won’t hurt my finances that much and I can just let my account be paid up thru 2024.

Thanks TubaDiva; Isosleepy. It’s been a little tough but, now more than usual, it’s clear to me how many have it so much worse than I do. And I don’t want anyone to think I’m so bad off I’m hurting for every last $17.50 (or whatever). I’m not. I just don’t think I should be buying 4-year online subscriptions to anything at this point in time.

BTW if anyone was curious–it was a gallbladder removal. Bad gallstone blockage was inflaming the pancreas and the gallbladder itself was very inflamed, too.
