A friend and I are sharing a google calendar for a business collaboration. I’m android, she’s apple. We can’t seem to find Tasks on her phone. Any suggestions?

There are iPhone apps made specifically to do what you want - just search the App Store or iTunes for Google Tasks apps.
As a PC guy, it took me a long time to get it into my head that everything on my iPad is an app. Whatever you want to do - first thing is search the app store.
