However, if you’re willing to accept an answer from someone who has a knack for Google, according to this site, now-a-days Howard starts the show with “Great American Nightmare” from Rob Zombie. However, pre-Private Parts he used to start off with “In A Mellow Tone” (originally) by Duke Ellington. That’s probably what you’re thinking of.
