I’ll be in the cooler Southern Highlands area of NSW, where the forecast is for a mild 13-25C (55-77F) Christmas Day, with a likely afternoon shower.
That’s about what the weather is here now, and I’m in the NORTHERN Hemisphere.
Where it’s, you know, winter.
Here in chilly west coast Canada, predictions are for a high of 8 degrees C (46 F), and some showers.

Low 40s, mostly cloudy, no snow on the ground in southern Michigan.
Well - Ok that’s better than blizzard and ice storm. My plans for Christmas are: take doggies for hike, then go hang out with friends 45 miles south of my house. So, while I’d love snow, mild driving weather is OK too.
Sunny and 35. Should be great.
Auckland weather prediction (or perhaps given the apparent unpredicatability of our weather I should say “augury”):
Min 14°C, Max 22°C , risk afternoon shower. Sea breezes.
(Min 57F, Max 72F)
Sunny, 14C (57F) is the forecast for Las Vegas. But then, nearly every day is like this right now.
In the 80’s. Shorts weather!
A little warmer than usual for Minnesota, around freezing and some sun. Hardly any snow on the ground in the southern half of the state. It’s just another work day for me and my husband.
Looks like we’ll be having a green Christmas this year which is okay with me because we’ll be driving. Unseasonably warm, probably a high in the low 40’s-upper 30’s (6-3° C) and no precipitation.
Around 65, sunny as all heck with a bit of wind. Pretty much the usual.
I’ll be driving through the mountains where there’s a slight chance of snow hanging out in dark shadows. Coolness!
42F and Sunny in Chicago forecasted for Christmas Day. So far only one snowfall over one evening that stuck for a day, sort of.
Houston, TX area: partly cloudy, high 57F, low 42F. Looks a bit iffy for a white Christmas, I reckon.
High -1C Low -10C, 60% chance of flurries (with almost no snow so far!)
Every day the predictions change to crappier forecasts. Right now it’s:
Possible thunderstorm
Partly cloudy. Isolated showers and the chance of thunderstorms from during the afternoon and evening. Light winds.
Min: 18°C Max: 29°C
(65°F - 85°F)
Current forecast is high 81, low 62. Sounds like beach weather for us.

'Twas going to be my first ever hot Christmas, but Sydney is not cooperating it seems. By the forecast I’m pinning my hopes on, looks like 28c and partly cloudy. Still better than home, by a country mile though.
Predicting 31 Celsius here, but it will be hotter. That’s about 90 degrees in the old currency.
Oh, and fine of course.
Slip over to Perth. There is no doubt it will be hot
