Vote early and often.
well let’s see if I can post because yesterday afternoon I couldn’t
{{{Swampy}}} I hope all goes well for your sil.
Good Morning!
I was a flippin frigid 26 when I talked to my friend at 4am.
I’m soooooo glad I don’t deliver newspapers anymore.
Gotta vote today.
Gotta sign sah-kid up for driver’s ed. He is still resisting. I may drag him to the bank today too and add him to my account. Never too soon to teach kids how to budget and balance, and he can have his own debit card and stop borrowing mine.
What more could a kid want, a driver’s license, a bank card, and the keys to mom’s car?
Tuesday is Pizza Day so we already know what’s for dinner. Although I may get him pizza and get Chinese for me.
Yep very mundane and boring, this is life.
now to hit the reply key and see what happens
I voted Friday.
I didn’t get a sticker.
ETA: to leave more hugs in the pile.
**Rebo **- you can have my sticker - it’s still on its backing, sitting on my counter. I’ll even draw a happy face on it for you!
I got a sticker at the Hardware Store/Elementary School.
Thanks for all the howdies-- it’s good to be back even though I must hang my head in shame. I registered to vote when I moved but the registrar has no record of it! I didn’t start worrying until too late to do anything and so today I have to deal with not voting for the first time ever. Imma bad bad citizen.
'Course I remember our okra threads Swampy! How could I forget when Jose sends me a card every year? Who knew that Liberace Day is right after Mother’s Day? Makes sense when you think about how good he was to his mama though.
Bobbio I’m confuseded. I lived in the southwest and have picked up stakes for northern Cal. Gasp! Was that doppelganger of mine hanging out somewhere in the mid west? I can’t tell you how many times people insist they’ve seen me somewhere I’ve never been. That does it-- I’m dying my hair pink. That way I can be sure I’m the original.
A[sup]2[/sup] that Jose has always been such a nice boy. His momma taught him real good manners. I hear he and Big Leather Bubba have opened up a decorator/bait shop. What a wonderful idea that is! Get yer new sofa and yer fishin’ worms in one convenient place!
Oh and BBBobbio is in the land of Sandy Eggos for a bidness trip right now.
Thanks again for all the prayers, good thoughts, etc for sil.
Leftover roast beast w/ rice 'n gravy and pasta sallit for N.O.L. YUM!
I have to be on a teleconference call in twenty four minutes. ICK! Don’t wanna!
Somebody pass me some cheese. I already have whine.
Tomorrow.
Like Swampus said, I’s in Sandy Yeggo right now. To pile on even more, I haven’t lived in Flyover Country for ten years. At the moment, I’m Mooooooom’s neighbor, and she quivers in fear because of it.
I gots it now Bobbio. For a second I was doubting my nebulous mind map of the US. Have fun on your trip-- Horton Plaza is neato for shopaholics. Otherwise to the beaches wit’ ya! Chicks in bikinis in November don’t ya know.
Swampy did you know they’re adding a dvd section to Bub-ose’s House of Style ‘n’ Stuff? For some reason it’s in a little room in the back and you can watch 'em right there. What kinda movies only last ten minutes or so? If it’s cartoons why wouldn’t kids be allowed?
I have been sorting silverware. But I’d rather be napping.
Howdy from da cave! I left after the conference call. A ham is rotissin’ away as I post. Scalloped N.O.T. and steamed asparagus shall be the vegetative matter. Should be a good dindin!
Well, A[sup]2[/sup] they might be showin’ some of them cartoons that have violence in 'em. That’s ok for the grown folk to watch I reckon but younguns ought’n to watch them kind of cartoons. I hear you have to put quarters in them little teevees to watch the cartoons, so besides all the violence, I wouldn’t want any of my younguns to spend their allowance on cartoons.
Stoves and chimney liners have been installed and the pellet stove is warming up this room as I type!
Chickie is marinatin’ for supper. Life is good.
I VOTED!!!
Now I get to complain!
The pellet stove is amazing! It’s set on the slowest feed and the highest fan setting, and it’s 70° in the far end of the house after less than 2 hours! And the fan is so much quieter than our old stove. I am happy! YAY!!
Supper is chickie and a lot of veggies. Knitting will ensue. In warmth.
I voted.
Oh it sucked, I have never seen a line there before.
At least I knew before hand how I was voting so I didn’t have to read the entire 9 pages of the ballot.
Ballot is cast, spine is stabbed, charity plans are planned, and DH is getting dinner going.
Our charity work du jour is for a group called RESCU that provides medical cost assistance to Rennies, as we’re traditionally a group that doesn’t have much in the way of medical insurance. On average, they negotiate about $1 million worth of medical bills reductions every year, and pay another $250,000 or so of bills per year.
Stopping off at Trader Joe’s on the way to work and picking up a pound of almonds may not have been the brightest idea ever.
what else did you buy?
