I was rereading Harry Potter 5 the other day and I recalled something. When I was reading it the first time through, I was convinced that Lupin was going to die… and it never happened! Personally, I love Lupin but I was ready to let him go.
My reasoning:
- His last name is Remus. J.K loves giving clues about people (personallity or otherwise) with their names. If history repeats itself, Lupin is bound to die.
- He is a character that a lot of people like but could be gotten rid of with not much heart break to the readers but some tears from the characters.
- Wormtail was given a SILVER ARM by Voldermort! What is the only thing that can kill a wearwolf?.. SILVER! A lot of characters in HP seem destined to duke it out (possibly and probably to the death) and Wormtail and Lupin are definitely are a pair of them.
By the time the series is over, Lupin is bound to die!!
Any other guesses for future murders and murderers?
