This one doesn’t seem to be headline news yet, but the company – the Navy’s largest contractor, I believe – just sent out the letters days ago. I got one and it sounds pretty serious:
“…As a result of the investigation, which concluded in April of 2023, we discovered that the information involved may have included your: name, social security number, phone number, credit card number, debit card, date of birth, and/or driver’s license.” That sounds like a lot.

It’s particularly galling that a military contractor has my SSN at all, to be insufficiently guarded and then stolen. I don’t recall doing business with them; haven’t bought any aircraft carriers lately. Anybody think this is more serious than your average everyday breach?
