First of all, I don’t know if this belongs here, but it is really burning a hole in my side.
My husband has fantasies of being with my mother. MY mother. He keeps going on and on about these little fantasies he has about her and goes into detail about them. On one hand I am thankfull that he is making an attempt to get along with her, but on the other, it is not something I want to vision in my head, nor something I would ever want him to follow through with. I know that he would never go against my wishes and attempt to seduce her, although it is really bothering me. I have talked to him and he said he would try to keep it to him self from now on. Anyone else out there with similar circumstances?
My mother-in-law is an affectionate person. The first time I met her, she hugged me as we were leaving a family gathering. Of course, she was just “going down the line” hugging her daughters and came to me and said, “What the heck!”
My wife (obviously girl-friend at the time) was a little worried that it would “scare me off”.
Therefore I told her the hug was no big deal but when she reached down and grabbed my ass…
My first thought was maybe he’s joking to get a rise out of you. But frankly if he’s doing that, that’s still icky.
closest I’ve ever seen was my former brother in law (note the word “former” - I was, past tense, married to this guys’s brother). Poor Greggy (that’s what his family always called him "poor Greggy got kicked out of the Navy, now poor Greggy’s in jail for spousal assault… ) anyhow. At one point, he walked in with his new “girlfriend” Cookie, who was about 20 years older than he and bore a strong resemblance to his own mothers. (all together now : ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww).
I had a boyfriend once who confessed to thinking my sister was “hot” and who said he’d like to sleep with her except she was “such a bitch.” I was never able to determine which part was supposed to comfort me (she’s hot/she’s a bitch) and which part was supposed to piss me off (she’s hot/she’s a bitch). As it turned out, they BOTH pissed me off – nothing says “Cold Shower!” like hearing your BF has a thing for your sister, and I happen to love her a lot – and I kicked him to the curb immediately. Ick.
Try covering your ears and screaming TOO MUCH INFORMATION!!!
Oh, and if during an, ah, intimate moment, he calls out your mom’s name . . . call a divorce lawyer.
