Hey guys,

So I check the DVR this morning, it seems Hustle is back on AMC! I missed last night’s episode (it got recorded though.)

Series spoilers and speculation

As most of us know, Adrian Lester, the actor who played Mickey left the show to pursue acting over here. So this first episode has only a four person squad. They will be bringing in a new actor to “replace” Mickey though it looks as if Danny will be taking the lead and the new actor will be taking in Danny’s newbie position.

Thanks for the notice. Fortunately, I seem to remember AMC repeating eps several times, so I’ll keep my eye out.

Saw the episode last night (it’s one of my favorite shows). I think the loss of Mickey is a problem, though that was minor. The one issue is that the final scam was obvious once you saw the old couple.

Also, I don’t know why they were upset by what happened at the sign. They made it seem like it would be a problem, but Danny’s realization was obvious at once.

It was fun, as usual, but not at the show’s best level. The twists weren’t up to snuff.
