It’s around noon right now, out here in the middle of the Pacific, and I just got a recorded call from the local homoph-- er, GOP candidate for the Senate. He assured me that the Pubbies are Sweeping the Mainland and I should go vote for him so we have somebody there who’s one of the Popular Kids.
While it’s already too late for me to change my mind and vote for him (as if), is this legal? Can they still make these calls today? This wasn’t even some fringe supporter group, this was the actual candidate (at least, so he identified himself).
