Well, to me it is a big deal, because after spending about four years posting to deja (may it RIP) I have finally found a message board where I can ask any damn thing I want to and get an intelligent answer. In that way, the internet is superior to real life since one doesn’t have to endure blank stares or giving the impression that one is “out there” by just asking.
Also, for a shy guy like me, it has been a godsend because I have *learned[i/] so much and because I have learned to “let go” of some of my inhibitions and ask away. I mean come on! Where else can you ask “why is doo-doo brown” and actually get an answer?
