I think you can but pex tubing by the foot at Lowe’s and HD, and it’s pretty cheap, like $1/ ft or less.
Your local big box hardware store probably has bright green Flexzilla garden hoses. You could pick up a 3ft leader (the part that goes from your house to the hose reel) or whatever they have and cut it to length.

ETA, I missed that you said “nor green”, but they’ll likely have other colors as well. Anyways, my point was…would a garden hose work for your project?

Some unmarked cars the cops in my town equip with cameras in high-crime areas have Red antennae.

I will slip this bright Red hose over my car antenna. No loss of signal, the bright color will make it easy to find, and the local Trouble are less likely to mess with it.
