If Trump wins this thing, you can pretty much lay the blame on exactly what you are talking about.
If this is a response to me, then I guess we could blame it on false flag provocateurs and the right’s ability to be easily misled by false narratives.
I could see the unrest being a concern only if it were led by black radicals and nobody else. The fact that this is not the case and the fact that it’s the president himself who’s egging them on doesn’t hurt Biden; if anything, it probably is a wash and it might indeed hurt Trump.
And it absolutely hurts Trump when he compares a near fatal officer involved shooting to missing a three foot putt.
Extremely easy to blame the Democrats when the people that are actually out doing rioting are (aside from a few alt-right provocateurs) are likely mostly Democrats. If someone throws a brick threw my window I’m going to blame the person that threw the brick, and not “economic injustice” or “systematic racism” or “the repercussions of slavery” or anything else.
So, you say that if someone throws a brick through your window, you are going to blame the person that threw the brick. And Democrats.
And it sounds as though, if you hear a rumor of someone throwing a brick through some window somewhere, you will also blame Democrats for throwing a brick through yours, even though no one has.
Early polls after the RNC are encouraging for Dems:
Another poll, this time from Fox News in the field Wisconsin 8/29 - 9/1. So after the convention and after Kenosha.
Question 5: Regardless of how you might vote, who do you trust to do a better job on policing and criminal justice – Joe Biden or Donald Trump?
Joe Biden 47%
Donald Trump 42%
Something I’m wondering: We’ve had three fatalities recently around all of this. Two in Kenosha by The Kid Who Couldn’t Think Straight. One in Portland by??? Now, the BLM (official and hangers-on) side is pretty stirred up, both by the on-going abuse of black folks and, now, the protestor shooting in Kenosha. But what about the trumpian side of the equation? Beer and triggering the libs only takes you so far. To get folks really stirred-up, you’ve got to give them a martyr. And now, lo and behold, they have one. What if that was the idea all along? What if the Portland shooter wasn’t BLM or some ANTIFA souper-soldier? What if he was one of those Boogaloo A-holes who actually killed two cops in CA? (And then, as an aside, that ambulatory Ken Doll, Mike Pence has the unmitigated to cite that killing in furthering the image of lawlessness in trump’s, whoops, I meant Joe Biden’s America. Unbelievable. There’s a reason that cops go extra hard after cop killers and it isn’t for revenge. (Well, not just for revenge.) And that is that someone who’d kill a cop demonstrably would have zero compunction about killing anybody else and therefore constitutes a greater danger to society.
I’m wondering if that trumplodyte escapade was organized online, if this guy knew it was coming, if he had an escape route planned out. Think I’m right. Think I’m wrong. Think I’m nuts. What?
I wouldn’t be shocked if this proved to be true.
These people believe they’re fighting for survival. True, they define “survival” as “them coloreds finally start to show me some proper respect and the little woman does the same,” but to them it seems a life-or-death matter.
So I don’t think we can entirely rule out the possibility of false-flag killings intended to create martyrs to The Cause.
That’s a lot of what-ifs that probably are what arents.
So you’ve already decided the Democrats are to blame for a crime that hasn’t even occurred.
You’re not an independent voter. You’re committed to the Republicans.
The “it’s all the Democrats fault” posts I am seeing here are great news for Trump. All he has to do is stir up racial tensions which is the one thing he is good at and he can be President for life. Let me repeat that: Trump causes a problem, blames his opponents for it and then gets reelected. He doesn’t have a plan to stop the riots. He wants the riots. He loves the riots. The riots are the gift that keeps on giving. However, should he decide to stop the riots (after he wins the election) how do you think he’s going to do it? I’ll give you a hint, he’s already said how.
Saw this on a comment section: Saying that trump hates chaos is like saying that the Green Giant hates vegetables.
That argument only works for Trump’s base. He could tell them he balanced the budget, cured cancer, and landed a manned mission on Mars in the last four years and they would believe it and vote for him.
But if Trump had enough true believers to win an election, he would have won the general election in 2016. Trump has to reach voters who aren’t in his base.
If those voters are scared of race riots - and they see that Trump is stirring up racial tensions - they are not going to vote for Trump. You don’t vote for the person who’s causing the problem you’re worried about.
Or an accident. Lots of guns, not much responsibility.
So little has come out about this, that, IMHO, I think that the likeliest explanation is that they were showing off and playing with their toys, and someone got themselves shot.
Rather than take responsibility for it, they chose to blame someone else.
So all the buildings burned, all the people assaulted, all the roads blocked, and all the stores looted that have already been committed don’t rise to the level of “crime?” They do to anyone that wants law and order. The average Trump voter doesn’t think we need to invent a time machine to go back and eliminate slavery so something, they think we need the police to come arrest these criminals.
What about all the people who have been killed? Don’t their deaths rise to the level of crimes?
Conservatives can’t lay claim to being on the side of law and order when they’re the ones who are supporting the greater crimes.
On that note I remember the sign of one peaceful black protester:

Dear police, we know you are not all bad… But as U love to say to us:
“You fit the description”
Over the last couple of years I’ve felt that the US is experiencing a civil cold war (or cold civil war); I fear that it is heating up, Trump will win, and then everything can go to hell in a hand-basket.
Yeah, if he wins all his goons will feel validated and go on rampages.
