Reprises followup was funny :).
I was raised with the Cowboys and my in-laws are big Bronco fans. My wife and I married right when the Boys were starting to slide after winning the Superbowl 3 out of 4 years and the Broncos were finally getting better after many abysmal years.
Father-in-law and I compliment each other’s team on the previous week’s play. Mother-in-law consistently reminds me how much the Cowboys currently suck, including again last night.
Sunday, the Boys beat a team they weren’t suppossed to in a very exciting game while last night the Broncos got embarassed and had the longest touchdown in NFL history set against them.
I got downright gleeful thinking about the karma of the situation. That, a bottle of wine and a stuck browser made for a horrendous multi-post.
My sincere apologies.
And yeah, reprise’s quip made me smile as well.
