Yay I’m done! Now I have to wait for two hours for my husband to finish Crim Motions Practice so I can go home (commuting sux).
Maybe I should walk down to the Village for a bottle of something…
Yesterday I had a 9 AM exam. I was up too late studying and ended up going to bed at 2AM. I knew that I needed to get some sleep and I ended up getting so wound up about the fact that I couldn’t fall asleep I ended not being able to fall asleep for hours. :smack:
All Done. Criminal Procedure, Evidence, and Constitutional law.
I still have a take home for Transactional Lawyering (Contract drafting skills class) and a cite check for the journal but at least I get a breather first.
Done. Yup. That’s about all you can say about 'em.
I took my Contracts exam on Tuesday, and did not feel all that great about it.
I took my Criminal Law exam this morning, and I feel like I kicked its ass. I was riding high all day.
Wednesday is Torts, and I’m trying not to think about it. The professor has been lousy and everyone in the class is completely confused. It’s going to come down to whoever did the best job of teaching the subject to him/herself outside of class.
I still have a Greek exam, a take-home final essay and a research paper to do. The paper is eating me. I was supposed to write the first section of 3 today… I haven’t started yet. I just keep doing more and more research.
I am all but done for the semester. I’ve still got to revise my paper for my Romantics course. Fortunately, I’m writing about Byron’s Don Juan and doing a bit of comparison to the Rime of the Ancient Mariner, and since I’m focusing on the shipwreck scene, this means I get to research cannibalism and brush up on my Dante. So even though it’s a whole bunch of work I don’t feel like doing this weekend, at least it’s work I enjoy.
I dunno…in our Crim Pro fact pattern today, there were so many constitutional violations that this defendant will likely be told to just forget about it. I made it through, though; and one more to go!
I’ve just done a maths and English exam,passed easily,am now doing an I.T. course but am not feeling stressed ,felt stressed when 75% of my mates were killed or crippled,grow up,get a life.

Heh, it’s only because I’m doing a research assistantship this year that I’m not also grading a million papers. My students have always been sympathetic when I point out that they just have to write a 5 page paper - I have to read and grade 60 of them, PLUS do my own work!
I have a take-home exam due wednesday in Prod Ops that I finished this morning. I have a presentation to give on thursday night in Bus Policy and Strategy. That’s it. very low-key this semester.
My Crimp Pro essay caught the entire class out of left field. We were expecting a fact pattern question in which perp, and police and public defender were all so inexplicably (and simultaneously) incompetent that every possible operative word of the 4,5, and 6 amendments were potentially violated.
Instead we got an open-ended policy/historical question. What?
I still can’t decide if she was trying to throw the class a bone or subtly weed out those who hadn’t kept up with the reading.
