I am tempted...

…to congratulate Loachon his 24,000th post, which was a post to close a thread celebrating a 5000th post. But apparently that sort of post is frowned up on so I won’t do that.

Is it okay to celebrate other people’s post achievements? I thought only celebrating your own was forbidden, as it’s overt post-padding.

I don’t think I have 24,000 things to say, but less think worthy of posting on a message board!

Congrats Loach!

I approve this message, thereby demonstrating this thread should be closed and CookingWithGas ought to be scolded most sincerely.

As I approach 15,000 I struggle with whether or not to consider it any sort of achievement. Maybe half of my posts I wish I hadn’t made, and the rest are of little value. I think I’m up to, like, 8 good ones.

Why would anybody want to pad their post totals? I consider too many posts to be suspect.

I…

…agree

Me…

…too

I …

… disagree.
