Thank you. The recital starts at 7:30 PM EDT, but I am probably not playing until at least 8:30 PM as I am the second to last person playing and my teacher has a lot of students.
Right now, we are about to start heading for my sister’s dance recital. Yeah, we are pretty much out most of the day today.
Right now it is a very nice morning with 18 degrees Celsius and mostly clear.

In related news - there’s a photo contest on the CBC website for the month of June. The theme is “How I start my morning.” However, I don’t think anyone wants to see a photo of what I look like first thing in the morning. 
Gotta practice the heck out of the ukulele today. Can I memorize a 90-bar piece of music by next week? Let’s see.

Went to a friend’s place in far off fuquay Varina((“The quay”) fora birthday dinner. i ended up staying, since much beer and tequila was consumed. You can tell it was the sticks, there was a Red Solo Cup in the middle of the road on the drive home.

Busy, busy, busy day yesterday. Long trip to the vet for Polar and couple of errands. After that, I totally mucked out the kennel, leveled the ground (as much as I could without a level), and installed the kennel decking. After that, I came in, cleaned the kitchen, and prepared dinner. After that, it was laundry. I didn’t sit down for total relaxation until around 7:45 last night.
Today, I have to go to Lowes and I need to pick up a couple of things from the grocery store. I’d also like to get a pedicure and I still have a few loads of laundry to do. With my son home, I have lots of laundry.

I had a driving lesson Friday. It was free. My teacher said since I’m having so many lessons, every fifth one will be free.
Yay, now I can spend the money I saved! I’ll spend it all on candy and booze (Actually, what I’m doing with the money I saved is saving it towards the next lesson.)

Howdy Y’all! Home from deheathenization. ‘Twas nice and we had a big (for us) crowd on hand. Just finished a tuna fish sammich for N.O.L. It’s all gloomy and cloudy out as well as hyooooooomid so I am in for the day as far as I am concerned. The biggest thing I have planned is some nappage. I yanked a made up but uncooked beastloaf out of da freezer this mornin’ that I may bake later for tomorrow’s dindin. Might also bake up some death chikin for later this week as well. Ok, those two things are bigger than nappage.
Hmmmm… Anon, Nonny, AU, Who? We may need a vote but I’m kinda likin’ Who? right now. It amuses me.
The lawn has been mowed. One flower bed has been weeded, mostly. My car has been emptied of my stuff, vacuumed, and washed. Tomorrow, I hand over the keys to my sis. I really hate to give it up, but she needs a decent car and we don’t need 3 vehicles plus a motorcycle.
The plan for tomorrow is to drive to my sister’s place in 2 vehicles, give her my car, then continue to Mom’s in the Sonata to hang with her for a while. Sis will come up soon thereafter with her beasties - she’s spending 3 or 4 days helping Mom out. And she’ll be able to get it inspected and titled and life will be good. Yay!
**FCD **is doing something noisy in his shop - I hear power tools. I think I’ll knit and watch part 2 of Anna Karenina. I’ve got a ring of Polish sausage thawed for supper. Just ate some leftover quiche for lunch. Definitely an easy day.
