I call Shot Gun MMP

And all the day you did not have good luck.

When my younger brother and I lived together as adults (may Gary RIP) I did all the laundry cause, well, he was a slob. I dutifully went through pants and shrit pockets before throwin’ in the washer and I found sixty bucks in a pair of his pants. I gave it back to him and told him from now on what I find I keep. Durin’ the three years we lived together I’d find ten or twenty bucks in his pants a couple times a month when I did laundry. I always thanked him for the beer money.

Dammit!

We got our 2x4s then went to Red Robin for lunch. One of FCD’s former minions came in and we called him to lunch with us. There was chat about how screwed up things are and how there’s not much work to do. I think **FCD **is relieved to be out of there.

We’ve put in all the joist hangers and installed the mid-span supports and 3 joists. Most of the deck boards that I painted look horrible - it was stain, not paint, so the coverage sucks. Plus I hate Olympic, so there’s that. After we install the boards, they’ll get a second coat, and if it still looks sucky, I’m going to order the stuff I wanted to use in the first place.

On the way back, we stopped at the Amish market and got some beeyooteeful 'maters and some itty-bitty new N.O.T.s - I’ll add some fish, and that’ll be supper. Yum. We also stopped at the credit union to dump a bag of coinage in their counter. I was surprised that we had $71.03 in the various containers around the house. Yay for loose change!

I’ve closed the house again - it’s not all that hot, but it’s really muggy out. Tonight it’s supposed to cool down to 60°, so I’ll open the windows again. But for now, conditioned air. And relaxation. Life is good.

Not really having a very good day due to many circumstances coming together to conspire against me… Hope it gets better soon.

I won’t pick them up unless they are face up

I used to pick up pennies. Now that we no longer use them in my country, I don’t know if I’ll be picking them up anymore.

Howdy from da cave! Did a quick dindin of sliced turkey boob, peas ‘n carrots and new N.O.T. in a white sauce. OYKW et and then left to go to his place to purty up a little bit. He has a meetin’ (some kind of professional org thingy) to go to this evenin’ poor thing. Anywho, everybody is fed and tummys are happy. I suppose I should go clean up the kitchen.

{{{StickyBuns}}} hope your day is gettin’ better.

I love turkey boobs.

School has been attended, the maple sugar candies have been finished off, and the bass clarinet has been walked.

Work tomorrow.

Me, too!

I always heard “see a penny, pick it up, and all day long you’ll have good luck”
unless it’s face down, in which case - DOOM!

Well, still working toward my ambitious goals for the day, but not there yet. The suspense is killing me.

Exactly!

Supper’s almost ready. Another band of rain is moving in. I think I’ll log off till tomorrow.

MWAH!!

My brain saw the ORG & the extra letter on THING & ran them together. I’m thinking way, way, way to much TMI, even for you. :o

Did you make said maple candies? If so, can I PM you my address??? The only thing better is barley sugar pops, aka instant cavity on a stick.

Hey, if it was a professional orgy I’d be the one attendin’. :stuck_out_tongue:

Sorry, I bought them at a local market. It’s in Cote-des-Neiges in Montreal, near the community centre where I work.

I have always wondered if Canadians put their tyres in the boot and park next to the kerb.

It’s been over 10 fucking months but some days I just miss my boyfriend. :frowning:

Morn…err, evening, all! Work is busy as I’m still learning everything. It will be some time before I really KNOW everything, but as the lady who has been covering my position gores out for surgery in a couple weeks, I’m doing my best to at least half half a clue by then.

I’m kind of a non competitor. Sure, I LIKE to win, but chances are 99 percent that if I’m doing something it’s cause I want to, which means i enjoy it , which means for me that winning isn’t the goal.

Except gambling, lol. I get bored mighty fast if I have even a short streak of bad luck.

No, we put tires in the trunk and park next to the curb.

“Centre” is how we spell “center.” “Centre” is also the French word for center. The place where I work has a French name incorporating the word “centre.”

Do the British not also spell it “centre”? Perhaps they swiped it from the French.

I caught a moth on the curtains.
I leaned past Mrs. Plant (v.3.0) as she stood with the front door open smoking a cigarette, tossed him out, and the little bastard flew right back inside.
