…and she was extremely supportive! I love her so much :')
Congratulations on having a good experience and a good sister! May your future steps be as rewarding!
Thank you! ![]()
May all those important to you be equally supportive / understanding, and may you be able to tolerate all those who are not.
That is awesome @CorpusNeptune ! May you continue to be loved and supported by the people that matter most to you.
Congrats. That must be a huge relief.
Mazel tov!
That’s great. I needed some feel good news today!
Glad to hear it!!
A year or so ago, we were visiting our daughter (who lives about 500 miles away).
While we were waiting for our table at a restaurant, she and my husband wandered around the sidewalk. After a few minutes, they came back, and my husband said “Moon Unit has something to tell you”.
At which, Moon Unit said “I think I’m bisexual”.
My reaction was basically “ok, what’s for dinner?”.
She thought we’d be upset. I was just upset that she thought we’d be upset at the news. As our views on the topic of one’s sexual persuasion have always, and very vocally, boiled down to “consenting adult, treats you well”, it genuinely startled me that she was worried.
But that goes to show: coming out with news like that, even when you are pretty sure the other person will be supportive, can be tough and scary. I’m so glad your sister came through for you!
Plus, this now doubles the pool of people she can try to fix you up with
.
I’m really happy for you! I’m glad you have support.
Congratulations! What a relief!
Congratulations! I remember how nervous my best friend was when he came out to me. That must have been a huge relief to you. I hope you go on to enjoy a life lived authentically.
Who was the comedian who said, “Bisexuality doubles your chances of being turned down for a date on Saturday night”?
That was probably me. ![]()
