I, too, can hardly stand the suspense. That is, waiting to see what OMG and adaher will have to say about the polling after Obama wins (I’m calling north of 320 electoral votes … who’s with me?).
Seriously, OMG has put a huuuuuge amount of time and effort into finding “errors” in the polling methodology - mainly because they don’t say what he wants them to say. I will anxiously await his mea culpas come Wednesday. I shan’t think I will hold my breath, however.
The question is: What/who will he blame? I can’t see him saying anything along the lines of “Well, it looks like my calculations were totally in error. I was wrong.”

Yes, it’s so sad that Romney had no chance at all during this campaign to talk about the deficit, the debt and the economy. Right from when he announced his intention to run, April 2011, hurricane preparation filled his days. And, during the GOP primaries, he was thinking all the time about the coming hurricane season - this really threw him off his game.
And of course, right after the GOP convention on Aug 28, the coming future hurricane preparations took pretty much all of his time.
The 3 debates, of course, were knocked right off course by all the talk of hurricane season, and the possibility of a hurricane starting with the letter “S”. If only, if ONLY he’d been able to sneak in a reference to the economy during one of those debates! Things might have been different.
TL:DR: Sandy blows, Romney sucks.

2. Those were genuine questions. Now for the snark. Remember when I documented the way your Chicago-boy libertarians cuddled up to Pinochet? And you baselessly accused me of dishonesty? And I substantiated my claims? I have no doubt that you Anne Rand wannabees would dismantling all manner of sanctions and curbs against vicious human rights abusers in the name of freedom. The only advantage (not a small one) is that Ron Paul et al would pull us out of pointless wars with greater alacrity.

If Obama wins, I can’t really see the Republicans wanting to argue that it was down to an act of God.

It’s probably something biblical along the line of God letting the Babylonians enslave the children of Israel because they were insufficiently enforcing the rules. Expect more extreme religious/politcal reaction if/when Obama takes a second term. It can only be that God is punishing the righteous for letting standards slip.
