I can has tribblez?

Lolcats do Star Trek!

Hee! I liek!

Can someone please explain the humor of these lolcats. I just don’t get it at all. That was some of the least funniest stuff I ever saw and ironically about the most humorous of the Trek episodes.

I don’t get the humor. What was funny in those panels?

ETA: Disclaimer: I am not being snarky. I am serious. Is it possible to explain or will I never get it?

I like how Spock is immune to lolcatese.

Fascinating!

If the idea of lolcatz in of itself isn’t an amusing idea to you, then yeah- that entire website thing will be boring as hell. The phrases used are cutesy, but some are also parodies of actual lolcat phrases (Invisible _____ being one, and the “Whut?” and the “I can has _____” sorta things). If they don’t already amuse you, then  it’s hard to explain, but in my head i just picture the scenes but with those phrases being said in cutesy ways, and that creates the humor for me. But if it doesn’t work for you, I wouldn’t try to hard to over think it and just enjoy something else instead.

What Exit, I have deep respect & admiration for you; & I’ve racked my brains for a way to explain it, but there just isn’t one. Certain things just either strike your funny bone, or they don’t.

My favorite LOLcat.

And second favorite.

It’s the look on their faces. So like our own.

I liked how they snuck in Sisko from “Trials and Tribble-ations.”

I used to be somewhat opposed to them as well, but eventually I had to give in

Thank you for trying guys. Apparently I am Spock-like when it comes to lolcats at least. I wouldn’t have even looked at this thread but Star Trek titles tend to drag me in. Just not my humor I guess.

I like lolcats, I like Star Trek, but I didn’t find anything funny about those loltribbles.

Heh. “Invisible Klingon”. lulz!

I didn’t like it until “OMG THIS SUX” and then I couldn’t stop laughing.

Same here. I love the two things but they’re not so funny put together.

Now if it had been cats dressed up in Star Trek attire doing that episode then it would have been genius.

Not laugh out loud funny, but cute and good for a smile or two. I think the best part was Spock’s immunity to lolcatese contrasted against everyone else.

I also liked the shout out given to Zero Wing.

“MAIN SCREEN TURN ON”

And to Settlers of Cataan: “KIRK I TRADE WHEAT FOR SHEEP”

“WHUT?”
