I can make myself twitch!

I am a freak I guess. I first noticed it about 5 or so years ago. I was scratching my nose, taking my fingernail and dragging it right down the front, and I noticed my nose would twitch. I later found that if I flicked my hand, in the space between my forefinger and my thumb (not the webbing part, but further towards my wrist), my index finger would twitch. If I flick my cheek, my cheek muscles twitch (this is the only place where it hurts if I flick it). I keep exploring, and in the past year, I found that if I flick my wrist, either my middle, index, or thumb twitches. Flicking my “pinky ligament” in my wrist just causes my muscle in my wrist to twitch, and not my pinky.

I am now working on my forearm. Flicking this muscle causes my middle finger to twitch downward, towards my palm, and then upward. Within a few weeks I should master this one.

My friends tell me that I may cause myself serious nerve damage in the future. I tend to agree with them, but twitching is so damn fun. It just feels good, because my muscles are moving, and I can see them moving, but I am not in control. The stuff just fascinates me.

I’m almost afraid to bring this up, but horses can twich their skin to shake off flies etc. They are expert at it, not shaking everywhere but only where the irritation is.

For purposes of this thread and until further notice twich = twitch.
