So I’ve been sick for the past four or five days, and my nose is really stuffed up. Since I cant breathe through my nose, I sleep with my mouth open all night and my lips have gotten chapped. I have a little cut on the inside of my upper lip from where the skin split, I assume from drying out too much.
Anyway…if I stick my tongue in the cut and kind of move my tongue up and down for a couple of seconds…it makes me sneeze! Why is that? Something to do with the nerves that go from your lip to your nose? It’s kind of cool actually, because after I sneeze my sinuses clear up for a minute or so.
On a related note…last night I woke myself up in the middle of the night because I bit my own tongue! I bit it really hard too, right on the tip, and it still hurts and its been almost 20 hours. I felt like a freak, and of course told all my friends about it.
