On my Igoogle homepage, the gmail preview box does not load, and googledocs causes Firefox to crash. I’ve also noticed that other menus like youtube related videos, and other similar items/ menus on news sites seem to be having issues. The dope seems to think I’m trying to simulpost every time as well and refuses to load the edit screen. Do I have a setting to change or something? it is very frustrating.

Gmail has been having issues the past few days. I know a man in the PNW (US) who’s been unable to access his longtime Gmail account because their server has suddenly decided he’s in Germany.
On Googledocs, it’s buried deeply in the help notes, but failure of Googledocs to load the list of things you’ve uploaded or named collaborator or reader on, is rectified by clearing your Firefox cache (probably true for MSIE too, but we’re talking Firefox). Try that and see if it helps. (Tools/Options/Network tab/Cache/Clear now button)
I have had a similar problem and have concluded that it’s related to the recent Firefox update to version 2.0.0.18: Gmail/GoDaddy web access borked since 2.0.0.18 update! - mozillaZine Forums
Unfortunately, I didn’t get a chance to figure out the fix before my laptop well and truly died on me…once it comes back from the shop, I guess I’ll go ahead and install Firefox 3.
