WARNING: Possibly TMI or just plain icky.
Last night, I was eating supper and it felt like I had something stuck between my lower incisors. I went to floss, and a big chunk from the back of my right incisor fell out. There was no pain or blood, but I scheduled an appointment with the family dentist for Thursday to get it looked at.
But in the meantime, I just can’t stop poking the hole where the chunk fell out with my tongue. The hole’s a tad sensitive, but not painful. Am I in danger of causing further damage with my tongue-hole canoodling?
I can so understand what you are going through. I had to have a tooth pulled last week and my tongue will not leave the sutures alone.
Just out from the dentist. I went to have a wisdom tooth with a cavity pulled, but he didn’t want to do that (the previous dentists I saw for this tooth told me I had to have it pulled, but whatever). He put in it some stuff to “kill” the nerve and it hurts… He just told me that’s normal, I just have to wait and he’ll see me on Friday if it’s still an issue.
My apologies to the OP for not being supportive, but I saw this tread as an opportunity to complain too…
