I can't wait to graduate!

Sybil would have been a more ironic name for his puppet.

Does anyone agree with me?

(taking on the personality of his own teenage girl-puppet, ummmm … Jasmine)

Hee-hee, you are so funny, Milo, as well as smart and handsome! You rock, like Bobby Brown!

We love you Lynn, oh yes we do…

Oh man, and I was going to join the fun by asking exactly which version of Great Lash mascara was her favorite and why…

(1) Lynn rocks. She is the bestest admin in the whole wide world.

(2)
(a) Talk backs: it’s a cheerleading term, referring to a type of cheer in which the crowd participates. Every school has their own set of “talkbacks,” and every cheerleader knows their schools’ talkbacks.

(b) Wild dogs or wild cats: There are no private high schools in Richmond, Ohio, according to the Chamber of Commerce. There is only one public high school in Richmond, Ohio. It’s Edison High. I called Edison High and asked what their team name was. It’s the Edison High Wildcats. 'Nuff said.

Lynn, thank you.

Rick, you rock. And thanks for explaining those weird questions for the Yankee Culture Impaired

Happy to oblige! The challenge was, of course, coming up with questions that were not susceptible to web searches (Edison High does not have a web page) and also not susceptible to asking your next door neighbor’s teenage daughter. (Unless, of course, she was a cheerleader also).

Practice from the Bricker Challenges stood me in good stead!

  • Rick

Well, now I understand why yall or so intense when a new poster post. You have to establish if they are someone whom you have already argued with.
Bricker,
I didnt realize she was a cheerleader but I know what you are talking about we just always called them chants. That was smart./
The aka alias sockpocket stuff would get on my nerves real fast but maybe you should warn people before you grill them why you have to …laughing.

Gotta hand it to you Joe, you sure live up to your name.

Well, my first attempt at using the quotes feature went well. This is the pit, feel free to slam me.

I meant to say:

You guys are getting too good at spotting these sock puppets. This time I was not convinced until I saw Sandy describe herself as “good-looking” in the above quote. Yeah, a teenage girl who actually believes she is attractive. I don’t think so. Nice work SDMB detective team.

I’ll take credit for this one.

Tyler,
not to be a picker of nits, but I called it in the “Peace in Ireland” Thread in great debates, but I’ll let you have it as you did so much work for it!!

well, at least one person wants to meet me…

Cheers!!

John, I’m pretty sure Ty was talking about outing Sandycane.

John John, I’m afraid, manifested himself as a problem back in December of '97 as Cyberian54. (See my post on this thread from 03-10-2000 11:25 AM.) John John was publicly identified as Cyberian54 (by deed rather than name) by TubaDiva in November of '99 (not that the rest of we ancient AOL types hadn’t already recognized him). You did, indeed, make a good call (although I do not use troll to describe him), but he had been seen and identified quite a bit earlier.

Tom~

Right you are, Tom! I knew he’d been identified previously (both by himself and by others) as being our old pal, Cyb. I was referring to his latest (and last?) sock puppet.

John/Sandy/Cyberian, you may still be out there, still lurking about. (Or you may even have an all-new ID and have already registered again.) All I can say is:

GET HELP! What you are doing is not healthy.

When all else fails, ask Cecil.

jab1, you seem to have misspelled Get Bent! there. You’re welcome.
