gigity I dunno. I’ve seen some pretty wild street festivals in my time. Some have even included the drinkage of alcoholic beverages and gasp dancin’ gasp even!
Survived, work ,got my new glasses, picked up BOG TP and a case of beer, and found a TV. I’ll have to see if it works.

Is there a term, other than “tomato sauce” for a sauce of tomatoes, garlic, onion and perhaps a bit of celery that is simmered for hours on end?
The only part that sounds less than wonderful is the lima beans (ick!).
Home from work, coaxed DH into agreeing to feed the car before I have to go to class (I hate pumping gas!). Must feed myself and probably shower before class. Yes, I was clean this morning, but was working in a warehouse setting on a very warm day, then had to drive home in a car that is without working AC. Much homework due in the next two days.
The next two weeks will not be fun, with major projects in at least two classes coming due, plus finals week. I suspect being short on sleep will be chronic over that time.
During semester break, I intend to spend much quality time with my pillow.

Meatloaf was very yum - 2 anna half hours at 225° was just right. There’s a spare in the freezer with a dozen newly-smoked brats. It was a productive day.

Brownie with ice cream and hot fudge sauce has been ingested. Now it’s teevee and snuggle time.

I think I’ve had enough of the internet for the time being. Maybe it’s a good thing my own computer in my room is only online sometimes, though I should look into getting that fixed.
Oh look, the internet came back on my own computer. Goodbye productivity. 
This probably doesn’t surprise anyone but a friend of ours is the “long time listener, first time caller” on the Mr Obvious Show. Our favorite is the contractor.
And while 99% of my family has been in PA, the one ancestor we can prove served in the American Civil War was with the 2nd Mississippi. The rest seem to have slipped back to the Old Country to run hemp to both sides.
It’s amazing what a difference a shower can make. I was feeling kinda grubby from mowing and smoking, but now I’m clean and relaxed. Life is good. I’m chilling before bed.

Another bizarro dream night - in last night’s edition, Jim Parsons was hitting on me. I kept reminding him that he’s gay, but he didn’t seem to care. No doubt about it, my brain has gone off the deep end.
Grocery shopping today. **FCD **has a pot luck tomorrow and once he calls and tells me what to bring, I need to get the ingredients and make it. All he told me yesterday was that they have a lot of desserts. Yeah, that helps…
I’ve also got to clean the smoker, another fun chore. And I need to send an email to my sister - she’s 54 today. So I’ve got a full day ahead!

MOOOOOOM that was funnneee! Speakin’ of potluck, Sunday is brunch Sunday over to the church house. We have invited the Methodists from down the street to come partake and afterwards the kids from both churches are playin’ softball. So, we need lots of foodstuff. Ima make chikin sallit sammiches and coleslaw. Also, Sattidy is mow the back forty day over to the church house.

Louie, Louie is one of my favorite all time songs. I have a friend who has a doxy named Louie. When my friend sings Louie Louie to him, Louie sings along. So stinkin’ keeeeeyooooote!
