Howdy Y’all! I met my friend for a N.O.L. Quickie and after that, well, I have vegetated all afternoon. Speakin’ of irons, I should get mine out and iron some shirts that have been hangin’ in the laundry room for a while.
I’ve got 10 towels ready to have their hems stitched. Then I can stencil them. Tomorrow. I’m done today. My back is achy from ironing. Stupid leaky iron.
Dunno what I’m going to do for supper. I may go for something quick like mac-n-cheese. We’ll see what **FCD **thinks when he gets home.

Well we finally got the rain I have being hoping for. Inches of it. It was so bad this morning I took the day off. We are under a flood advisory. I love it. It’s still thundering and according to the radar it will probably rain all night.
Hubby is going to meet some of his friends for dinner so I have some chicken boiling for chicken and rice. Lucky Louie’s favorite.

It’s 70° in the house, and I’m freezing! Makes no sense. I may try some hot chocolate.
My mom called. She changed her mind about me painting her deck, so I won’t be going up till my niece’s shower on the 16th. I guess I’m relieved. But I am disappointed Mom will be left with a ratty-looking deck. Oh well…
There’s only 19 more days of school! (But who’s counting??) :D:D
