Enjoy it while it lasts. Sanity (at least on fiscal matters) will be returning to DC soon.
And money lost. And that is so important, so hopeful a sign. They poured out a metric buttload of money to win this fight, I doubt anybody knows for sure how much. And it was all just pissed away, gone, gone to the place the candle flame goes when you blow it out, poof! gone.
Next time, maybe not so quick to approve this sort of thing in America’s boardrooms. Maybe the guys who suggested spending a shitload of perfectly good money to get diddly squat, maybe they have some uncomfortable questions to answer.
