It’s cold
I’ve gotten over the grumpies and now I’m busy
The house is a mess and I may be getting company.
So up I get to finish all the crap I need to get done.
Thoughtless that’s what we do! 
Been a lazy afternoon in da cave. Just the thing to do on a cool Sattidy afternoon.
Hostess chocolate cupcakes aren’t as good as they used to be. 
The orange ones are still good, though. 
flytrap it just occurred to me that The Book of Judges is not a part of Torah. That would be like me saying The Acts of The Apostles is one of the Gospels. You are a bad Jew! Bad! Bad Jew! 
spaz I agree about Hostess chawklit cupcakes. Little Debbie’s Swiss Rolls, however, are teh yum, as in stuff one gets to eat all one wants of in Heaven.

Blurf. It’s cold outside, which means I’ve been buried under a quilt all day. The heat is also on, which means that the inside of my nose is dried out and I’m getting nosebleeds. I hate winter.
It turns out that the sprog and we have to work out a plan for him to earn money, and he has to earn at least half of it by a specified period to earn his Second Class rank. We’ve agreed on $400, which is what a week at scout camp costs, and this means that he has until the end of June to earn $200. Now we just have to figure out how he can earn it. So far, we’ve got recycling soda cans, but any other ideas would be welcome.
Breffest was nummy. I made corn cakes with a shot each of honey and vanilla and a sprinkling of cinnamon, and turkey bacon. Dindin was also nummy. The sprog and Airman made sketti and garlic bread. It was nice not having to cook tonight!
Rockin’ great idea to have the sprog earn money. I know he can’t be the only scout in his troop doin’ this. Mayhaps the Scout Master can provide you with ideas of ways he can earn money. I would imagine this is highly encouraged.
'Tis 57 Amurrkin out right now with an overnight low of 40 predicted. Tomorrow’s high is predicted to be 70 and Moanday will be cool and rainy. Wunnerful way to start the irk week.
OYKW is havin’ a whirlpool bath as I post. He’ll be all nice and clean for later use.

I am surprised at how similar services are. When I was a child and a Methodist, it was al sermon and singing. 
There’s how many different [del]versions[/del] denominations of Christianity, plus Judaism, plus Muslims. At a 50,000’ level, all the Western religions are pretty much the same, we’re all waiting for the Messiah & world peace. When you get into the weeds, there are more differences, like what # appearance it will be & whether this one or that one is a heretic, etc.
My biggest fear: the Amish are right; which means we’re all screwed usin’ these fancy ‘lectric thinkin’ boxes. :eek:

The house is semi clean and I have company.
I don’t know about this but I agreed to it. OAOASO’s son and his gf are with me for a few days because they are here visiting and not enough room at OAOASO’s house.
I also have uninvited guests, damn mouse ran across the kitchen tonight. Sah-son said he had seen signs of mice, now I know for sure.
Still have the grumpies.
I finally broke down and got a new phone, Galaxy Note 4, I have to get used to it. One cool feature is you can use it as a remote for the TV. Not a feature I’ll use but a feature.
The Galaxy4 can be used as a t.v. remote too. One of the many features I like.
We did nachos, too, courtesy of DH. Hey, I worked today, he didn’t, he can handle feeding us.
The gathering yesterday was nice, except that BIL and SIL were late, so dinner was delayed. But the food was nummy and the conversations were all over the place, as were the 4 dogs. Higgs does not play well with strange puppehs. My daughter’s childhood friend came with her service dog (for social anxiety) and Higgs kept barking at poor Nitro. We all welcomed the blessed silence once everyone had left.
I think the plan for to day is to eat tons of leftovers. The next few days won’t hold so much cooking as warming of miscellany. Some time today or tomorrow, I want to run to WalMart for some yarn. I finished my afghan so I’ll need something to work on as we drive home. I also finished one book, but I have another, so I’m good in that department.
One good thing about the bazillion dogs yesterday - it tired Higgs out - she slept thru till 5:30. I got almost 8 uninterrupted hours of sleep, so yay!
For now, I’m caffeinating. We shall see what’s up as everyone arises.

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up, caffienated, and brekkied so no YAWN. 'Tis 44 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of <snerk> 69! <snerk> for the day. We were both up early so I fixed us a brekkie of snausage, scrambled aigs, grits, and toast. ‘Twas quite nummy and OYKW washed dishes afterwards even. Now he’s purtifyin’ for deheathenization and I shall commence the same when he’s finished.
MOOOOOOM glad the get together went well. Sounds like overall good behavior even from Higgs. A dawg’s gotta do what a dawg’s gotta do after all.
