I just wanted to because I know swampbear on FB and have interacted with him a lot on Facebook recently (I’m Chris Nealon, if you didn’t know). You’re one cool dude!

**swampy **- I won’t be bugging out right after supper. I gots some couth! Plus **FCD **is scheduled to do a presentation to my daughter’s batch of 7th graders on Tues. He’ll be talking about space stuff, including stuff he did at NASA. I’d kinda like to go along, but I don’t know if I can handle all day in a middle school. :eek:
We got a lot done yesterday. Three pies are baked, the turkey is done and sliced, as is the ham (which MIL declares is the worst ham she’s ever bought!) The tables are set up in the living room, and I believe we’re going to do this buffet-style, since 10 people plus serving dishes at a table is a pain in the patoot.
Today, I’ll peel and cook the N.O.T.s for mashing, and we’ve got to bake the sweet N.O.T. casserole, the brussels sprouts, the dressing, plus warm up the turkey and the horrible ham. SIL is bringing green beans and another side. Daughter is bringing green stuff and deviled eggs. And in addition to 10 diners, there will be 4 doggies. It should be interesting. Naturally, I neglected to bring my camera.
I will be glad to get home, if only to consign Higgs to her crate at night. Apparently she needs to pee at 2:30, then she thinks it’s play time. ugh. I did manage to fall back to sleep for about 3 hours, but thanks to the cramped confines of a double mattress (I miss our king size!!) I awoke with a numb left arm - it got trapped between **FCD **and me as we slept.
Meanwhile, Higgs has been out and I’m thinking about caffeinating. Let the day begin!

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up, caffienated, brekkied and purtified! ‘Tis 33 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 59 for the day. Actually it’s nice out. I know cause we’ve been out and about already. We had brekkie at IHOP, then went to :eek:Wally*World:eek:, and to the grocery sto’ already. OYKW has gone back to nap for a while and I’m kinda wired up so no nappage for me. Yet awhile anyways.
IdleThoughts welcome! As doggio said pokepokepokepokepoke. Hmmm… a nickname… Let’s see now, Idle Thoughts=IT which makes me think of Cousin ITT from the Addams Family. You recently grew a beard that would have made Cousin ITT jealous, so I propose ITT as your nickname. Thanks for callin’ me a cool Dude. Makes me blush. :o Also I already knew your IRL name. It’s all over the doper facebook page as is mine and everybody else’s (almost) who haunts the doper facebook page. Also juvenile rules here, so <snerks> and juvenile humor are always welcome. We frequently break out in silly jokes and puns. flytrap especially likes the puns.
MOOOOOOM I suppose it’s good to have some suaveness and not bug out right after chowin’ down. I say go with FCD to your daughter’s school. You could make funny faces at him durin’ his presentation. That way you’d fit right in at a middle skool.

flytrap we have lessons from the OT and NT each Sunday along with a reading from the Gospels, plus we sing (chant) all or a portion of a Psalm.

It was “Venus and Adonis” by John Blow, and Rameau’s “Pygmalion.” Double-bill Baroque operas.
And swampy, I remember watching “What’s Opera, Doc?” in film music class in university. Nice to have a course where we could watch cartoons. 
Dang midget if I had to pay double bills to see the opera I’d be baroque too!

Supernatural forces are keeping me in front of the tee vee forcing me to watch one of the two greatest movies of all time, “Blues Brothers”. It’s not like it own it on DVD & can watch it whenever I want or anything. :rolleyes:
