Is it racist to use the term 'Master Bedroom'

Modnote: Do not accuse other posters of lying (outside of the Pit). That is what calling their post(s) gaslighting is.

I’m just here to clarify what I was trying to say.

Telling people that their getting upset by what you are saying is a function of their own stupidity or weakness is what I was referring to as “gaslighting” not implying that anything Novelty_Bobble said was lying.

Obviously the way I said it certainly made it look like I was saying something else. For which I am responsible and for which I apologize.

Is it okay if I apologize in the thread (without any clarification)? I don’t think that would be discussing the moderation itself. But I’m already on thin ice here. Don’t want to make it worse.

An in-thread apology would be fine.

Gaslighting is a word that I imagine needs to be used carefully. But the normal implication is pretty dire.

I’m surprised by the big comeback it has made of late with Gen Z. I’m use to it from being a big TCM fan and thus loving the movie the term originates from.
