I don't get this problem in Egypt

Shouldn’t they be able to change to any government without revolution?

They have the Great Pyramids!

Sadly, Egypt upgraded to Civ 5, where the Pyramids now provide a boost to worker construction speed.

Fools!

You’re thinking of Brazil and Cristo Redentor. Egypt can change to any government they want, whether they’ve discovered it or not. But they still have to go through the revolution.

I for one would have approved of this OP even without the explanation at the end… but I understand why that might have caused confusion.

Well, now that they upgraded to V, there’s no revolution at all. This is all an argument over where to spend the culture points.

Hosni Mubarak wants it spend on the Order tree; the people want it spent on the Liberty tree.

But if they were Indian with Ghandi they wouldn’t have to have the revolution, and they would have all fast workers.

The Tree of Liberty must be watered from time to time with the blood of Elvises.

Well, they must be teching, because they’ve still got camel cavalry.

Olbligatory link to the Civ II advisors.

golf clap

Well played.

This would be a better link. :stuck_out_tongue:

So that’s why everyone says Civ2 was the best one. I’ve got to get that, now. And as an aside, that foreign advisor is hot.

I miss the original 'we love the “x” Day" parade with the Ode to Joy and the towns people marching from Civ I.

God, I’d forgotten just how large a ham the military advisor was.

I miss the animations, and I also miss building the palace piece by piece :frowning:
