I don't like _______ (Sacriledge, I know)

Shit yes, this as well.

Heh. Beat me two it. I must have been tiping the same time you were.

Heck, I went through a period when I played in a jam band and listened to Phish, and I still couldn’t get into the Dead.

Superhero movies. I admit I did enjoy the original Superman and Batman movies, but since then they get a big meh from me. Disclaimer- I am a DC comics guy and know nothing about the Marvel universe. I saw Guardians of the Galaxy and was bored shitless. The Batman where we saw him train under the tutelage of a badass fighter was way too long an origin story and guess what, it got totally recycled in the worst movie I’ve seen lately, Robin Hood (2018). Holy fuck what a waste of two hours of my life that was!

If your movie has shootouts where the hero picks off bad guys by the dozen, count me out. Slo mos of someone doing a flip and firing a weapon mid-somersault, give me a fucking break.

Alfred Hitchcock.

Sure, he could throw together the odd tense scene - but that’s *all *he could do. As a storyteller, he sucked.

Breaking Bad - totally overrated

I knew I should have put a smiley or a link. I hoped the first sentence of the OP would be a clue I was referencing (parodying?) the other thread and it’s misspelling.

Hey, c’mon, he invented the slasher movie - what’s not to like? {Searches for the leaden irony smiley}

As I was reading the posts, I kept adding things to my list!

Bob Dylan
Beyonce
I love the early Beatles, hate the Beatles once they all grew their hair and mustaches
Rap
Super Hero movies
Lord of the Rings
Elton John - great songwriter but…don’t care to listen to him
Prince
SNL - currently (it was great a looooong time ago)
Grateful Dead
Springsteen
Mariah Carey
Whitney Houston
Billy Joel
Justin Timberlake
Rihanna - that whole genre - whatever it is
Star Trek

This could conceivably be my list, except AIC would have to be replaced, with the more acclaimed works of the Beatles.

Agree. My wife think he’s great. Yawn-fest for me.

As I read those that mention Hitchcock and Dylan, I formed a cross with my fingers and held them toward the screen. Sacrilege indeed!

Japanese animation/comic books.

runs for very life

My wife too. That’s why I’ve seen most of them.

Y’know what’s really great? Listening to Dylan and the Dead while you’re eating cheese.

Which I discovered moments ago when I look again at the referenced thread. I thought for a moment *I *had misspelled it

I love early Who, the short bouncy rockers. I can tolerate certain cuts from Tommy.. Anything after that I cannot stand. And if I catch anyone putting on Who’s Next, I will grab the disc from their hands and hurl it with great force.

Elton John, Springsteen, girl singers with acoustic guitars or piano and no drums make me itch.

Tolkien also…I love fantasy fiction, but hate anything with the stench of elves about it. I’m a GORMENGHAST man!

Mariachi music. I wish the Mexican restaurants I frequent wouldn’t play it. I’ll do take out.

Jack White. Pretentious asshole.

Led Zeppelin. I can understand why others like them, just not my thing. The Doors I don’t get at all.
Moving into acting, I never understood the attraction of Andie MacDowell. To steal and butcher a joke from Paula Poundstone, does her dad own a movie studio or something.
