I’d agree here, though the real whiner is George. Jason Alexander ruins everything he appears in (he even ruined The Music Man, for God’s sake!)
I completely agree.
I also have the same opinion of Howard Stern.
I don’t know about that. Even the promos have Jerry continually whining.
Only when allowed to run his mouth too much. How-weird the WNBC DJ (as opposed to Talk Radio Host) wasn’t so bad.
Peanut butter and beans. Especially pinto beans. Don’t let the politicians in Texas know, they’ll deport me.
Game of Thrones. I just don’t get it.
That’s the one I opened up the thread to mention.
You can come over and sit next to me. I haven’t found anything to like in any of his incarnations, but the Raconteurs especially suck.
Ernest Hemingway.
Bohemian Rhapsody.
Damn! You beat me to it! I tried, but I gave up. And don’t even mention shudder David Schwimmer.
Heavy Metal Bands
Hair Bands
Movies with lots of fighting and chasing. Booooooooring.
Edited to add: The first Lord of the Rings movie put me to sleep. Twice.
Anybody think it’s a sacrilege to dislike the Eagles or Journey? Seriously??
It’s dealt with. The drones are on their way.
There you go. Even the readable stuff (*The Sun Also Rises, *”The SHL of FM”) includes really irritating levels of sexism. And no, it’s NOT “the way everyone wrote back then.”
I also say Jimi Hendrix.
I like a few of his songs. I understand he was revolutionary in his day but I cannot pretend he was the greatest guitarist since the invention of strings. There have been a BUNCH of guys come along who just as good and some who are better.
That’s funny. Better than drones, though, send those metal robot dogs from Black Mirror.
Robin Williams. I never thought he was in the least bit funny. Not. One. Little. Bit. “Loud” does not equal funny.
I never watched him do standup. But he was good in Aladdin.
I hate Led Zeppelin, too.
I hate ice cream.
Seriously. I don’t like sweet things, and that includes ice cream.
I think he had moments. He had to have just the right role and he had more clunkers than ones that hit IMHO, but he did have some I found very funny.

Van Morrison
Steely Dan

Robin Williams
Amy Schumer

George R.R. Martin (I think he attains Dan Brown-like levels of unreadability)

Wow, I’m just getting started. I guess I’m turning into a curmudgeon as I hit 60.
Sharing the hate for pro sports and ©rap “music”.
The Dead were a concert group. They have two decent hit songs, but if you never saw them in concert, it is understandable you’d think “meh”.
I never liked Andy Kaufman. Him standing there, mouthing the words to Mighty Mouse’ is perhaps the least funny and most stupid thing I have ever seen. Nor was he funny on Taxi, except maybe in very small doses.
