For those of us who have (unfortunately) had Trump as a dayglo spectre throughout much of our lives it is hard to do anything but hate the man.
He has been a by-word for bad taste and despicable behaviour for as long as I can remember. His business practices have long been a joke, he is a proven liar and cheat. His attitude to women, minorities, poor people and…well, pretty anyone who isn’t him, is horrrific and is a matter of record.
He seems to me to be an obviously terrible choice for any position in high office. That he managed to attach himself to the Republican party is possibly the single most damaging act in US politics in living memory. And sadly it appears he hasn’t finished yet.
