Those of you who hang onto every word of critter updates will be relieved to know that not only do both Charm and Pretzel have refilled water bowls, but also, Nikki and Monkey shared a tube of “Squeezy Crack” which then necessitated one last trip to the big garbage bin, cuz Monkey will fish those tube wrappers out of the trash if given half a chance.

The Ms is on her semi-annual pierogi making tear. On the grocery list this coming week are mushrooms, farmer’s cheese and potatoes. I can take them or leave them, but she is fierce about her Polish heritage, and with enough bacon and sour cream I’m fine with them.
I’m making apple honey whiskey cakes to give away tomorrow. There’s a little whiskey in the glaze, so I have to warn recipients in case they’re recovering alcoholics or their religion proscribes alcohol.
