Earlier this week I asked you guys for help finding a new hairstyle, as, well, it’s hot in Florida already and I needed something to do with my hair besides pile it on top of my head and use it as a neck and back heater.
And, so, here it is. The camera angles are all awful, but I wasn’t bothered by them enough to want to retake another set of similarly bad photos. While I feel a wee bit like Joan Jett, I love the new hair. It actually has texture and doesn’t completely fall flat!

Pinkfreud, my secret is that I have dark hair and that I probably overcondition it. And that there’s so much of it that I get comments any time I go to any hairdresser. (There was this one time when I had a lady repeatedly complaining as she was trying to get my hair in an updo that it was “too soft.” She said it maybe once every minute for an hour and twenty minutes.)
Thank goodness it’s not too late, you can still get a mullet. You’ll need lots of hairspray with your type of hair of course.

I’m naturally a little stern looking, and it doesn’t help that my concentration face looks angry. :o I really need to learn to take photos without concentrating so hard.
