I forgot my wallet at home today.

I have enough money in my change purse to buy lunch and a snack. I wasn’t planning on shopping on my way home from work. I don’t have anything to buy at all really. I don’t NEED my wallet (although it does have my driver’s licence in it).

But. But. I feel so NAKED.

I’d have to return home for it, since my work ID badge lives in it.

On the couple of days a year I forget my cellphone though, wow do I feel incomplete. And really out of touch, but yeah, naked is a good term for it.

ugh. I just know someday I’ll forget my wallet, watch, and laptop at home. At least I could run to one of several places within 3 blocks if I forgot my pants at home.

Oh man yea the times I leave my cell phone at home (albeit few and far between) leave me feeling completely naked. Doesn’t matter that when get home I find not a single person has called or even texted me, ha ha

It’s funny that I mention watch, laptop, wallet, even pants in my previous post. Cell phone! Of course, it sucks to forget that too! I know! I left mine at home today!

The other day I left my entire purse at home. I had my work and car keys, but that was it.
No lotion, no nail file, no phone, no gum, no credit card! All things I reached for throughout the day.

:frowning: Left my cell at home today, also :frowning:

GAH! I hate this!

People keep offering me money, but that’s not really the point.

I mean, what if I want to suddenly check my AirMiles blanace and I don’t have the card to retrieve the number?!?!?

Same here! When I leave it at home I’m just sure SOMEONE has called, even a missed call from a telemarketer. But no dice. Like the Seinfeld bit where you don’t even want to talk to anyone, you just want the reassuring red light blinking to tell you someone wanted to talk to you.
