I’m not exactly sure how this happened but there’s a paper cut right near the entrance of my left nostril. I got it to stop bleeding but it kind of hurts.
I had a friend in college who got a paper cut on his eyeball. He wore a patch for several weeks. Then, two days after getting the patch taken off, he was grabbed by his toddler, and got a fingernail gouge on the same eye.
Yours will hurt for a while, I think.
The Kleenex with Ginsu really will leave your nose red and puffy. I think you probably wanted the ones with Lanolin.
I’m not happy about this: whilei it amsues me to wonder HOW one gets a papercut in the nose or in the eyeball, I jsut know that, as luck will have it, that is probably something I shall accidentally find out within the next week.
I’m getting grumpy already!
Isn’t it a pity that we haven’t yet inventednon-aggressive paper, though.
Get well soon, people.
And I thought the one on the upper part of my ear was an odd place to get one (paper airplane accident fyi).
How do you get a papercut on your eye or in your nose?

Crud, sorry for the double post.
One more reason not to snort cocaine…
You were attacked by a ninja.
It’s the only explanation that makes sense.
Damn those guys are sneaky!
Yesterday I got a splinter in the rim of my right nostril! I have no idea how, unless it’s because it was super-windy yesterday and something flew up from the ground and hit me. Hurt like a sumbitch though.
I once got hacked to death by midgets with widgets.
It really is. Going through my day I have no idea when this happened. All I know is I have a papercut still in my nose and it still hurts like a sonuvabitch. I also got another papercut yesterday, though this one is just on my hand.
My friend got a LEAF CUT on her eyeball. She was walking past a plant and the flat leaf was just at eye level so she couldn’t see it. SLICE! Right in the eye!
Paper cuts in noses and on eyeballs … I doubt I’ll whinge about one just on the finger again.
Oh, ow! Bamboo and some grasses do that too. Just - ow!
OUCH! Though eyes heal fast, don’t they? I’d imagine after the initial thirty minutes of agony it wouldn’t be too bad…
Finally, I get to tell my story about my nostril without hijacking a thread.
For a brief time when I was about 13, I had a kitten.
He was laying on my chest one day while I watched TV and for no other reason than he was a kitty playing, slashed out at my nose and caught the inside of my left nostril with one of his claws.
I’m pretty sure the cat when flying as I jumped up holding my nose and rushing to the bathroom, sure that I would have the world’s worst bloody nose ever.
It never bled. He got the upper levels of skin in a cresent shape figure.
When I would go outside and play in the winter, if I sniffed, it would reopen the cut. It was especially annoying and irritating during -0 weather. The sniffing motion is when you stretch your lower lip downward and sniff because of a runny nose and no tissue. This action reopens the boo boo.
The rest of the year, it doesn’t bother me.
To this day, nearly 30 years later, this scar tissue bothers me in sub zero weather when I sniff and those Anti-Viral tissues cause some interesting sensations in that nostril.

He hates nostrils!

It required a doctor visit, but she’s none the worse for wear. I had an eye injury that makes this one look like a cake walk. I’ll share if you really want me to.
