I got a PUPPPYYYYY!!!!

I’ve got pictures on my blog.

He’s a nice little Australian Shepherd boy. He’s adapting well to the other dogs (considering he’s only been here a few hours) and is now asleep on the bed with Dear Robert.

And he’s sweet and fuzzy and he has puppy breath.

Life is good.

Awww, he’s adorable! Congrats!
Have you come up with a name?

He’s cute! He looks like he’s going to be a big one.

Until I saw the pictures, I though “Dear Robert” was perhaps your cat.

Here’s a question for the ages: Why is puppy breath so good and dog breath so bad???

What a nice looking puppy! He looks very much like my Tri-colored Border Collie, who’s mistaken for an Aussie all the time.

What fun!

CONGRATULATIONS! I am envious!

I have 2 Aussies, a red-bi girl named Neilli and a red merle boy named Chance. All I can say is it’s a good thing my guys don’t have thumbs because I would be in REAL trouble!

Have a wonderful time with your new baby.

For the same reason that newborns smell good, but infants just a few months older do not.

In short, I have no idea.

He looks like a Bernese Mountain Dog. Only, you know, smaller.

No name yet. We have to think of a registered name and a call name (if we don’t manage to combine the two somehow.) And he does have a Bernese Mountain Dog look to him, doesn’t he? His copper is a bit richer than my Sasha’s was.

The only other dog in the house that seems a little unsure of him is my oldest dog Cammie. She’s the only female dog in the house. Maybe she feels a little overwhelmed by all the males around. I am, a little.

Congrats on your new puppers! I wish “new puppy” smell could be bottled. I think it would be a big seller (or smeller?).

Sounds like a good name to me!
