I got Distinguished Graduate!

In all my time thus far in the service, I hadn’t done one thing, and it was really gnawing at me.

I never managed to get Distinguished Graduate, or even Honor Graduate in any of my training courses, to my disappointment. I was close, but I never made it over the hump. Well, all of that has now changed, because I graduated my ground training school today with an average of 97.3%, which makes me the only Distinguished Graduate in the class. And that with two weeks of leave for Aaron’s birth, to boot.

One more thing to put on my record for when I hopefully graduate college and maybe get a shot at Officer, or barring that, becoming the best NCO in the whole Air Force. Excepting Bluesman, of course.

Thank you for allowing me my moment of self congratulation, and have a nice day.

Yay! Congrats, Airman!

If they don’t give ya officer, I’ll wage war! 97.3%? Insane. You truly are a credit to the United States Air Force!

too bad you don’t get a ribbon for it.
Congrats, airman. continue to do that and you be an e-4 in no time.

Yay you! And congrats - sounds like the Air Force suits you!

WTG, Doors!!

hoists a beer

Congratulations sir!

Or not. The Air Farce promotes rather slowly.

So what’s the deal Doors? You finally out of training or what? What is your rank now that you’ve been doing so well in oh-so-many things?

Congrats Doors!

Except he already is an E-4, having earned that right after tech school.

Way to go, sweetie. Aaron and I are VERY proud of you!

What’s next…? Getting the Levitow Award from ALS or becoming a 4 year SSgt? :stuck_out_tongue:

Seriously, good on ya, AD. We’re proud of you.

[sub]I still outrank you. ;)[/sub]

That’s fabulous news, Dave! Congratulations on this and all of the other wonderful things happening in your life right now.

Way to go, badass.

Get your butt to the next Houdope and we’ll buy you a cold one.

I finished Tech School June 6th, qualifying for my AFSC (which is 1A331, Airborne Communications and Electronics Specialist, by the way), and then I blew through my mission ground school in 6 weeks, needless to say burning it up.

I’m a Senior Airman, Gorgon, and I do anticipate getting the Levitow Award and sewing on Staff in 4 years. Cocky, I know, but what the hell. Talking trash right now gives me something to shoot for.

[sub]Still think you’ll outrank me then, Simetra?[/sub]

Well done, dude. Robyn’s proud. Aaron’s proud. We’re all proud.

Keep it up someday-chief-of-staff-to-be-Doors!

97.3%? Good grief, dude. That’s gotta be some crazy grade curve;)

Congratulations!
Well done!
