I so scored big time last week and didn’t even realise!

Last week was hell week with Annie in hospital and me getting run down and sick as well, so it took a while for the good stuff to sink in.

We had decided to book Annie into a childcare centre as Leechboy and I both need to work full time to pay bills. There have been all sorts of horror stories in the media about long waiting lists for childcare:

Yet with only two phone calls and one visit to our local childcare centre I have managed to get Annie booked in, on the days we needed, starting Monday!

I didn’t fully realise what an amazing thing this was until I talked to my sister-in-laws today and all 3 of them were green with envy because they are having trouble finding places for their kids and have been on waiting lists for months.

Congratulations on your extraordinary skill in procuring childcare for offspring. You are clearly far superior to your sisters-in-law at this hunting/gathering thingie. :wink:
