Sorry Abby, but jazzmine had my name. Maybe your package was delayed. There are still a few unaccounted for and that includes the person I had.
THANKS ROCKING CHAIR!!
I got all kinds of stuff. From memory:
Touch lamp
Carpet samples that I put on the backseat floor of my car.
Coin holder WITH COINS! Hell, I love getting money in the mail! However, the 10 year old promptly snagged both the holder and the cash.
Toy Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck
Binder, snagged up by daughter
Tile
Eyeball straw thingy
And a bunch of other fun things.
Thanks again!
i’m glad you liked the offerings. after finding all the coins while cleaning, i’m cleaning my house more often!
have fun with everything.
Well, Friday night I had a box waiting from AbbySthrnAccent - good stuff, too.
I am the proud recipient of:
One pink teddy bear, which is all furry and sparkly and reminds me oddly of Pia Zadora
A really cool pair of oak leaf and acorn earrings - wearing them right now!
An Exxon baseball cap (for those days when your hair looks like an oil slick)
A brand new picture frame (looks to be handpainted)
Three new-age type CD’s - don’t know if you knew it, Abby, but I work part time on nights and weekends as a massage therapist, and those are going to make perfect background music.
Thank you, thank you!
This was so much fun I want to do it again, except I’m afraid I’m gonna end up with the Thighmasters back…
I got my stuff from rocking chair while I was at camp. I can’t think of all of the items right off hand, but the really cool one was this big pink nubbly vibrating ball that proved really popular among the guys. For a while we let it run around the cabin and giggle (I swear it really did that). After that we found an alternative use for it, and it was renamed The Penis Mightier in honor of that SNL sketch.
We’re not talking full-go here, but it certainly was an extremely pleasurable sensation. Due to it’s popularity we immediately established an outside the pants only rule, and pretty much everyone who came in to the cabin had to/got to try it out.
Thanks, RC, for making this time at camp a pants party. And thank you, Penis Mightier, thank you.
Lucky Charms
janis voice* oh. my. god!!! *janis voice
my goodness i am a dull and boring individual, i bought that, that, ball thing for the cats. it scared them! although if you looked closely you could see nod the naughty’s teeth marks on it. she would attack and run when it was turned off.
i’m glad that it arrived before you left camp. i guess i don’t have to tell you to enjoy it.(snort, snicker)
scout1222, I’m glad the cat has a good home. Sorry about the dust, I don’t think I got all of it off before I mailed it. I haven’t had a place to put the cat in ages, so it’s been sitting on the top of a shelf. The perfect white elephant, I thought. I decoration I had no place for. If there are any jagged edges, that would be from my cat trying to say hello.
On a sad note, I’m still waiting for my white elephant… sniff
…You haven’t been forgotten…I’ve been moving, and your stuff will be sent soon.
Well, I have my package. And I’ll even give you the play by play as I open it.
cuts tape
Well, there’s no shortage of pink packing peanuts in Oklahoma.
Okay, it’s a Spacewalker Mainboard CPU PnP? opens that box card reveals that package is from…<suspenseful music>…Arden Ranger!
Well, it’s no CPU PnP…searches for instructions…it’s some type of balance/scale thing. It looks like it should be very pretty…after I get it put together. grins at Arden Thanks.
By the way, porcupine, you’re supposed to treasure my crap that you just got more than what you got rid of.
Seawitch, I’m glad you are pleased with your stuff! Here’s hoping you’re not allergic to the bear and the earrings don’t catch in your hair and nearly rip your ears off. Maybe the hat will be of some use, but the guys who live here think it’s, well, ugly and black is too hot for Texas summers. For the record, I did not paint that frame, it came that way! Finally I’m really glad you’ll enjoy the CD’s, they made the bassett hound howl with displeasure.
Still anticipating the mail,
Abby

There better have been more in there than that!
Oh, and the instructions for putting it together I drew on the inside of the lid. Assuming you can make sense of it.
I got mine!
I found a postcard stating that a package that wouldn’t fit in my mailbox was sitting in the office waiting for me.
The Loaded Dogs package had arrived (remember, I knew who had me, so I wasn’t worried about the time it was taking coming from Australia.)
Okay, let’s see…lots of protective packing and a postcard. Getting a sinking feeling reading the card, I began unwrapping things. I got:[li]a Tom & Jerry thing…you push the lever and Tom races around the pillar that Jerry is sitting on; also, Vegemite.[/li]Something about the phrase “Concentrated Yeast Extract” had me worried. “One of the world’s richest known sources of vitamin B” had me feeling okay, I like vitamin B. TLD warned/advised me to spread a thin layer and enjoy. I toasted a piece bread and did just that.
Well, except for the “enjoy” part. I forced myself to eat the whole piece, but damn that stuff is not really all that good! I’ll find uses for it, like serving it to unsuspecting people.
Thanks, Loaded, very cool, mate.
:still eagerly anticipating…
Yeah, there’s a heart charm, and a necklace, and a rose pin, and the moon, and a cross, and this heart-shaped thingy here…
I did see the drawing, but I haven’t quite figured out the assembly yet.
The heart shaped “thingy” is a ring holder. Someplace to put your rings and stuff when you need to take them off to do something. I have one by my kitchen sink.
Cazzle, it looks awesome babe. It actually matches my living room…isn’t that scary. BTW, my sister wants to know where your mom got it…she wants one of her one.
And yeah, my old mailing addess is still valid. It’s my mom’s house, so anything sent there will be set aside (or opened in my absence…), and given to me later.
I really dig the plate. And I’m not even a fish person…
Uh, it turns out the person I put in charge of mailing my package “never got around to it” so it’ll be going off today. Sorry about the huge delay, though my person seems to have disappeared.
I got my stuff today - thank you for indicating on all sides that the contents were “no way in hell a lamp” but uh… who the hell is bouv?
Am I the only one left who hasn’t gotten anything, and whose person doesn’t seem to have gotten anything? bouv, dear, please tell me you got my delightful assortment of (and I use this term loosely) goods. Please?
Another query here - Fairy Princess Kitty - I sent a parcel to you 3 weeks ago… it’s not THAT far from FL to CA…
First off I’d like to thank thinksnow for putting this together and secondly I’d like to thank thinksnow again for sending me such wonderful items.

[li] Ohio State Buckeyes napkins (sorry but I’m not a big fan of the Buckeyes)[/li][li] a miniature little football (something to throw at Ms. Tiki when she isn’t behaving)[/li][li] a guide on how to beat Donkey Kong (now he’ll finally surrender to me mwa-hahaha!)[/li][li] some candy which includes a candy cane (kinda scared to ask how old it is) and some coffee candies (not too fond of coffee but these are pretty good)[/li][li] a mini-disc type thing (not sure what its all about)[/li][li] an ancient floppy disc of the 5" variety to install a mouse with[/li][li] and an absolutely wonderful Chia Pet which is without a doubt my favorite thing. It’s even in the shape of a kitty my favorite animal![/li][/ul]
Again thanks for the awesome stuff thinksnow!
