I got my stuff sent off on Saturday. I hope it gets to the person relatively soon. (I sent it US mail!) The person I got recently posted that they hadn’t recieved anything yet, so don’t fret, my friend!

If anyone does set up another one, I would love to participate again. I don’t get nearly enough interesting mail anymore…

Oh, and to the person I sent it to, not sure if I mentioned that I used Astroboy’s newspaper to pack it all up. Didn’t want ya to think I was so busy buying Korean newspapers that I didn’t have time to mail it off. :smiley:

I am still playing with my light-saber! That was the first thing out of the box, and an immediate hit - I had to distract the fiancee (known in these parts as Myself) with the army men.

So much cool stuff - I hope I don’t forget anything: corkscrew([sub][sup]I’ve been wanting one![/sub][/sup]), pizza cutter([sub][sup]we didn’t have one[/sub][/sup]), mouse ball, a book on Ninjas, a copy of The Late Great Planet Earth, a razor, ketchup, a brass rose
([sub][sup]very cool![/sub][/sup]), game cards, a large cup for holding men??, a classic modem, condoms, sunglasses, black hair dye, hot pepper jelly, jockey shorts, cappucino cups and a Zippo lighter!

Christmas in July - I am loving it. Thanks to that darned cat & moi!!

I do confess that I haven’t mailed my package yet - I join the rest of the slackers in grovelling ([sub][sup]but I have a light saber :)[/sub][/sup])

Okay, okay, I haven’t sent my stuff yet. I have been extraordinarily strapped for cash of late. The stuff is in the box, ready to go, but I have not had the cash to spare for the postage (we had an extra child in our house for a month–he’s gone now, though, so next pay, I’ll have a few more bucks).

On the upside, I got my stuff today, from bernse!

The Loot:

A copy of Titanic, with a letter explaining that he ended up with two copies when he got married. Well, dear **bernse, now I have two copies. :smiley:

A plastic NTN slide rule. At least, I think it’s a slide rule. I’ve never actually owned or used one, ever, and I never will. So, this one was probably the whitest elephant in the box.

A broken digital clock, from United Tool Supply, Ltd. Looks great on my computer table!

A coffee mug, white, with a drawing of an old building on it, and underneath, it says “Strathmore.” This is good–I drink a LOT of coffee. I will use this. Often.

My personal favorite, though, is the pen. An ordinary black pen, except that the base is wide, so you can stand it upright. No logo, no lettering, no nothing. It writes, even. BUT, this pen had a post-it note attached to it, informing me that this was indeed the Magic Pen of DOOM!

AAAAAAAAHAHAHAHA!!! I own the Magic Pen of DOOM! BOW before me, mortals! AAAAAAAAHAHAHAHA!!!

I’m sorry!!! I got my package from TroubleAgain on July 10th, but that was also the day of my horrific, awful day from hell, so I forgot to post about it! Also the day that I found out my student loan was approved, so the day wound up ok by the end.

Anyway, I got a box of ceramic knick knacks. I think there were six. Sadly, all but three were broken. Still, the three remaining are decorating my computer area as I type, and they watch for typos.

The white elephant exchange was fun! I mailed away one big cat, I got back three small ones, and now I point to them and tell people I had them shipped in from the states. :slight_smile:

I think it’s hilarious that you sent away one big cat and got back some small ones. I didn’t know if you were a cat person or not, but figured it’d be funny either way.
