I’m tahred! We moved a lot of stuff and dejunked a lot of stuff today. Plus, I cheated for lunch today so now I’m way full and sleepy. See, I was supposed to bring the leftover chicken pie for lunch, but I couldn’t stop thinking about the taco soup, so I brought me some taco soup instead. It was a biiiiiiiiiiig bowl. With cheese, black olives, spring onions, sour cream and corn chips to go with it. ACBG wanted to take some to work today but I said he had to take the leftover chicken pie cause the soup is for supper tonight. I’m a bad bear! Now I don’t want any soup tonight cause I’m soooooo full. I’m a really bad bear! Oh well, perhaps I shall confess and maybe I’ll be “punished.”

Idiot Stupidhead just bothered me once today towards the end of the day. He wanted to know if I’d finished incorporating all the changes he’d asked for. I told him I did my best to make it make sense. In those words. Yeah, it was a dig. Assuming he doesn’t get another bug up his ass, I should be done with this project. And much as I’ve loved all that I’ve gotten to do with it, apart from dealing with him, I will refuse any assignment that brings me to his proximity.
I have an appointment of Feb 9 with one of my many matrix boss-types to discuss my next assignment. All he’ll tell me is that it’ll involve cross-training and it will be different from anything I’ve done so far. It’s gotta be better than dealing with Idiot Stupidhead!
Class tonight. I need to change into grubbies. Last class, I was too dressed up to get into clay. So tonight it’ll be sweats and an old T-shirt, plus I’m taking a towel. I know part of tonight’s work will involve making a multiple pinch-pot creation, I have a couple of ideas, so we’ll see how the execution goes. I can’t wait to see if Miss Prissy Fingernail Girl comes back. heh

Hey, I think there’s a new episode of House on tonight. Dunno what reminded me of that, but I’m watching.
I also handed in my vacation schedule for the year. I wanted to get in for the last week of March, 'cos then when I come back I’ll have two 4-day weeks, Good Friday and the following Monday being stat holidays and all. Unfortunately we have inventory the last weekend of March, so they wouldn’t let me. Hmpf. I had to take the third week of March instead. Oh well. I always get the week of Sept. 20th off, though. (MindWife’s birthday, with mine following the week after)
Don’t we do these things where we post with our eyes closed all the time? I don’t hreally have anything super to report, other than the fact that I’m back to the SDMB… I have this problem where I can only be active on one messge board at once, and I had found some retail message boards to have fun with.

I figured out what was causing my stomach ache yesterday - I took my naprosyn on an empty stomach. :smack: I won’t do that again.
I think I’ve found the pattern for the bag I’m going to knit, and I even have the yarn for it. Now I just need to find the right buttons and some clear crow beads.
Oh, FCM, there are spinners who will spin your dog hair for you. There’s a mini-trend right now for knitting dog hair, with books and everything. I’ve never actually seen a dog hair sweater, though.
I don’t need Bernie’s hair, FCM – my two shed enough to knit a whole bunch of dogs! I honestly don’t know why they’re not bald.
I’m waiting for a messenger to bring me yet another [del]idiotic and pointless bunch of drivel[/del] thrilling and exciting Hill job. They have the stupidest rules, too – for example, unlike the rest of the world, you can’t just open and close a quotation with quotation marks for Hill work. Oh no, you can open with a quotation mark, but you have to close with two apostrophes! What rocket scientist figured that one up as a way to torture their reporters/transcribers, anyway? And can I take 'em out and shoot 'em, pretty please?
